New Blade to Me

Recently I have bought a new table tennis blade – Ma Lin Soft Carbon, I hope this new blade can suit to my feeling and skill of playing. Until now, I have collect to 4 blades! The blades branded Dawei that I bought last time, I still can not suit to it. I have played badly compare to my former blade – traditional penhold blade as my actual reason to change blade is to train for Chinese-style penhold playing.
Now, the challenge is to train the new skill - Chinese-style backhand. It uses double rubbers similar to the handshake style. In Malaysia, I find this kind of skill still in the beginning of progress. In comparing to China, the skill have been develop to a very aspiring and high standard. The most representative Chinese-style penhold player is Wang Hao – World’s 1st ranking. He has made the backhand as his main weapon without blocking as other penhold player always do. This kind of skill has mended the weakness of traditional penhold. May be he give a deep influence to the Malaysian penhold player, the trend to change is beginning.
Way in front still long, with the high technology of Yasaka Carbon penhold blade, in possession of the high speed and stability, I hope improving is coming to me.
